Our herd bull, JB King
Arthur, 16 months old in picture. Running with about 15 cows and all are
settled.
|
Two of my favorite 2005
spring born heifers. One in front is Amereican Fullblood and the other is
one generation away from Fullblood. Cow in back is dam of heifer in
back.
|
This is the same pair as
on left, calf is already too big to be nursing and still three months away
from weaning.
|
We think this is a
pretty fancy fullblood heifer. Looks good in this picture but she comes in
in second place.

August 14, 2005 was a
very unusual day for this part of Texas. We were having thunder showers
and the cattle were taking refuge in this grove of cedar trees. They seem
to prefer the trees over the barn as their shelter, especially in winter.
Some of the old timers will tell you the trees give off heat in winter. |
This is the majority of
my herd and all are heifers nursing their first calf. It is a herd we
believe most anyone would be proud of. The calves were born in spring of
2005.
