A note to all our British White Friends -

We participated in the Stearns County Fair in Minnesota this year again - with even greater success to our showing than last year. We had Reserve Champion 4-H breeding heifer, her judge remarked - "She has a little growing to do but is a premium example of what a beef heifer should look like. She'll be an excellent cow next year." There were a total of about 25-30 head of beef at our fair this year - a major improvement over last year where 4-10 were in the show. We brought 7 total, 2 - 1/2 blood cows with their calves, the heifer, and a "Chocolate" brown cow we acquired a couple years ago with her 1/2 blood calf. An excellent example of how out crossing works!

We have plans to show finished steers and a similar group of animals next year. Our fair will be August 3-6, 2000.

                Take Care All!
